Crafting Plans: Q2 2026 Plans

Hey there,

I have a few plans & WIPs to rollover into Q2 following my review of my Q1 progress. Here I will consider if these will get pushed until later in the year or whether they need to be reviewed completely.

Knitting

I would love to finish my Cosiest Memories Blanket in this next quareter. I have made some good progress with the knitting. This blanket will likely be huge by the time it has been completed & I know there is probably as much work left joining the squares altogether.

I have been reflecting on whether it is possible for me to knit a pair of socks. I recently purchased a copy of Kate Atherley’s book about custom fitting socks. I would love to read up on sock knitting a bit more before I commit to making a pair of socks. So, for now, I will be putting this in the queue for later on this year.

I think it is acheivevable to get both my neice’s cardigans started this quarter. I am having a debate with myself about whether I knit the Patons pattern. Watch this space.

Crochet

I would love to make another version of the Seafoam Cardigan in grey. I don’t know if I will get the chance to start this yet. I recently finished another crochet garment, so whether I should hit pause for now on the cardigan, I am undecided.

I don’t have any immediate plans for the Jewelspun yarn, so this will be paused for now. I know that the perfect pattern will reveal itself to me when its ready. There’s no rush.

Cross Stitch

I definitely would like to finish Spirit of Christmas by Lizzie Kate, as it is my oldest WIP, I feel it has earned its place in the finish pile.

I would like to make some decent progress on Reflections of New York City by Ink Circles but not sure that it could be a finish this quarter.

Let’s see how I get on. What are your plans for this quarter?
